Twisted Cabins

This quilt was made for my best friend's niece. I chose bright, fun fabrics because the parents are very young (18 & 19) and I thought a very traditional quilt wouldn't suit them. The pattern I used was called "Crazy Logs Kid's Quilt" and can be found in the Creative Scraps: Quilting with Bits & Pieces book. The fabric I chose is all cotton on the front and binding with a flannel backing. I machine pieced all of the blocks using a paper piecing method. This was the first quilt I attempted to machine quilt.
