Please describe and tell us about your baby blanket.

This blanket is crocheted in a basic ripple pattern but with some interesting color changes and popcorn stitches

What yarn and needles did you use and where did you get them? Why did you pick this yarn?
I used Lily Sugar 'n' Cream yarn because it's available in a lot of colors and I think cotton yarn is nice for babies--it feels good and it's washable.

Tell us more about your design. Was it inspired by another pattern? Why did you pick those colors?
At the time there were a lot of creative toys coming out with high contrast colors and also black and white: a departure from the pastels that babies usually get.

Did you run into any problems when knitting your baby blanket? How long did it take you to knit?
It's crocheted. I don't remember any problems. It took a couple of months, on and off.

Anything else you'd like to share about your baby blanket or knitting in general? Nope
