I am the gal who submitted this idea. I learned something after my daughter-in-law washed the hat. 1) Be sure to pre-shrink the fabric for the yo-yos before sewing them onto the garment. 2) Rather than just tack on the yo-yo with french knots as I did, you must tack it down all the way around the yo-yo or it will lose its shape when it's washed. I hope these revisions help you have a successful project. Thank you!
