Red and White Indio Pouch

by Joanna Jones
(Bethlehem, PA, USA)

I made a pouch, when I was pregnant, for my new baby. I used a Red and White Indio didymos wrap and made a pouch with a full french/flat felled seam.

I made it from scratch using an online pattern (from SBP) as a guide, but following my own instincts I altered the pattern just a bit. The width of the pouch was much wider than most and the curve was a bit different.

It turned out perfect and super comfortable! It was actually quite easier than I expected, and I would say if you want a pouch, to make it yourself as you can make it to fit you perfectly!

I had one like this once and it was soooo snuggly. I love the contrast in this one!
