Nine Patch Reproduction Fabric Baby Quilt
I made this quilt recently because I love vintage reproduction fabrics!
I used 2.5" strips to create the nine patch blocks and accented the colorful squares with white sashing. Simple and soft white flannel for the backing. The quilting was done by machine, in a stipple/random pattern, giving this quilt a unique vintage feel because of the cotton batting.
It measures 36" x 50" - a great size for a crib or toddler bed.

I have been making baby quilts since my son was born 6 years ago. I started because I wanted to make one for the nursery, and so I got a few books and taught myself how to quilt. I love piecing and creating something beautiful out of the small pieces of fabric. I think quilting is a wonderful traditional hobby that I want to pass onto my daughter.
Thank you for letting me share!
