Max's Quilt

This quilt was made for my co-worker's son, Max.

I used a quilt-as-you-go technique that i learned from Judy Doenias at City Quilter in NYC. The method is easy and fast I just love it!

It's all machine pieced except for the hand stitching on the connecting bits between the squares. I fell in love with the Alexander Henry 2D Zoo fabric and the modern look and colors. Not too babyish for Max as he gets older. This was my third quilt using this method and I'm obsessed with the concentric square patterns.
