"L's" Quilt

I made this quilt for my friend's baby girl that is due in a few weeks. I used the "Happy Flowers" pattern from the Summer 2008 issue of Fon's & Porter's Easy Quilts. I used several bright flower themed fabrics and coordinating solids. The flowers were appliqued and machine stitched and I machine stitched in the ditch over the entire quilt. It is approximately 35 inches square. This is my fourth quilt project.

I echo everyone else's comments. I've always liked bold colors for baby rooms, clothes, etc. and this quilt is perfect! (If you were just 55 or older, we could display it at the senior citizens store on the square in Georgetown:)! They have lots of quilts for sale.
