Jungle friends quilt

I did this quilt for a friend's baby boy last year. Thought of doing something with a nature theme and was very excited when I found this cute fabric at Jo-ann's.

I didn't follow any pattern. Just did a simple nine-patch and alternated with the focus fabric squares. And added borders with the same fabric.
It was so much fun to choose the co-ordinating prints.

Machine pieced and machine quilted in the ditch, as I'm fairly new to the quilting.
It measures 36"x36".

All fabrics are 100% cotton and batting is warm and natural cotton.
