Juliana Quilt
by Nicole Laird
When I saw the Zig Zag quilt on the Purl Bee website I used that as my inspiration. My sister already had the cherry fabric in her stash and after choosing two of my favorite Denyse Schmidt fabrics for the red we picked a variety of black and whites and turquoise prints. I was a little worried that Juliana wouldn't want to give up her old quilt, but she instantly fell in love with the new one and doesn't ever sleep with out it! It is machine quilted, stitch in the ditch style. I added a pieced back for more interest. The quilt measures about 48"x60".
