The idea for this site started when I was pregnant and found it hard to find unique baby items that were also affordable. I didn't want my nursery decor to be one of the mass-produced themes and I was bored with the same old baby clothes I kept seeing. I'd go into a baby boutique and find something I liked only to cringe at the $$$ price tag. Until one day I realized, "Wait, I can make that!"

This "make it myself" attitude started with sewing baby clothes but evolved to include learning to make baby food, baby nursery decorating, knitting for baby and even building toys. Over the years I've accumulated so many baby crafts ideas that I just had to start sharing them.
