Gender Neutral Baby Quilt
by Alissa Haight Carlton
The quilt was both machine pieced and quilted - with simple meandering free motion quilting. I was very influenced by all of the wonderful stacked coin quilts that I've seen around the blogs but here the columns are a bit wider than you usually see. The back is also pieced. It's mostly white with three small wonky log cabin blocks, made in the same fabrics as the front, in the lower left hand corner of the back. The quilt measures 60" x 45"and now lives in Scotland with a little baby boy named Max.
