Diva Dots

by Jenny
(Arizona)

This is the second quilt I have made. I got the pattern from the Polka-Dot Kids' Quilts book by Jean Van Bockel.

When I had my little girl, I wanted to make something special for her, and I thought a quilt was the best way to go. Needless to say, with a newborn and it only being my second quilt, it took me a long time to finish. It is made of all cotton fabric. The white squares have a pink dot on them (it is hard to see in the picture). The circles were machine-appliqued and I did machine stitch-in-the-ditch for the entire quilt. The back is a hot pink with black dots. It is appx 40" x 48".

Pattern

Many have asked for the pattern. It is from the Polka-Dot Kids' Quilts book by Jean Van Bockel. There are multiple quilt patterns in the book and it is rather informative as well. Thanks for the interest!

This is absolutely brilliant. I have never seen one like this before in such vibrant colours. My daughter would think this is "lush"

Can you please email me the pattern/instructions for this? I would be eternally grateful.

Well done, it looks amazing and it is a very beautiful piece of artwork.
