Detour Bag

by Emily

Thanks so much for the Detour bag pattern! I've been looking for a bag that could function as both a diaper bag AND a bag for my dslr camera so that I don't have to carry 2 separate bags all the time. This one was just what I needed!

I used a quilted fabric for extra padding on the inside and made some interior pockets sized to hold my camera lenses and external flash. I used fleece to line the shoulder straps to make them nice and comfy.

The pattern was great and the directions were so easy to follow! Thanks so much!!!!

More pictures can be seen at my flickr site.

Stylish Bag!
by: Susan Fernando

It's the most delightful pack that I ever see affirm so I believe it's ideal for school in light of the fact that you can coordinate it with more things from your closet and I have like practically the same bag.

The detour bag shared on the webpage is really sexy and appealing. I love handbags and have a great collection of them.

I am a very new beginner in sewing. I am curious as to what fabric I can specifically use for this diaper bag pattern.

I love the way it turned out. I just made mine two days ago. You can see it here:

I'm planning to make a few items to go with it as well :)
