Cheekee Monkee Wrap
Please describe and tell us about your baby blanket.
This is a cozy Baby wrap that is is made from size newborn to toddler. It gives your child the chance to become a monkey while keeping warm and snug.
What yarn and needles did you use and where did you get them? Why did you pick this yarn?
This Blanket is made with Red Heart Softee Wool that can be purchased at any Craft store. I use a H 5.0 mm crochet hook. This yarn is as soft as a baby wool with the durability that can be easily cared for.
Tell us more about your design. Was it inspired by another pattern? Why did you pick those colors?
I was inspired by a basic granny style blanket. I added the hood and monkey face for my son who thought it was best thing in the world. The two shades of brown just seem to work with the flow of the blanket.
Did you run into any problems when knitting your baby blanket? How long did it take you to knit?
I think the hardest part of this blanket was making sure the monkey face was cute and kid friendly. The rest was just monkey business.
