I wanted this quilt to be simple but graphic, using earthy solids as a palette. I drew out my design on paper, numbered the colors and decided how I would need to cut my fabric, then rotary cut and machine pieced the blocks. Sewed them together, machine quilted, hand bound, and then machine washed for added squishyness.

The backing is a simple orange and white polka dot with a strip running through it that incorporates swatches of all the solids used on the front. Additional details and photos are located here
