Baby Grace's Minky Dot Taggie Quilt!

I saw a taggie quilt in my hometown locally owned bookstore. I thought I could make one of these with the leftover fabric from my baby Grace's Minky Dot 9 Patch Quilt. I looked on the internet for instructions, but couldn't find any. Talked to one of my friends from 2nd grade, who helped me figure out how to make this taggie type quilt.

I used my Singer Featherweight 221 machine to piece together the quilt block. I had a hard time getting the ribbons sewn in correctly, and so I reinforced the ribbons with hand stitching on the outside of the taggie quilt.

Grace likes to take her taggie quilt with her to Mothers Day Out program, or in the car. It is really soft and cuddly.
