Baby Cashmere Cloche Hat
by Jaclyn Wolfe
The hat is a sunny yellow cashmere cloche accented with a pink rose flower. The slight ruffle and rose detail are reminiscent of 1920s fashion. I used Debbie Bliss Pure Cashmere (discontinued) in buttercup and a cotton remnant piece for the rose. I got the yarn from WEBS. I used Clover bamboo knitting needles (round). I mostly made the pattern up, I had seen hats similar and I wanted something super cute for the cashmere. No problems. It took about 3 hours to knit with the flower and everything. The baby hat is one of my favorite things I've ever knit because the yarn is amazing. Cashmere is so expensive that I can't really buy too much of it but it's perfect for luxury baby items.
