Baby Blue Baby Hat
by Sandy Harris
I knit this baby hat for Conner, my next door neighbor's baby. Her nursery was a "Little Boy Blue Theme" so blue was the color I had to pick.
It was knit by casting on 80 and then slowly decreasing. It has a rolled brim and I added some contrasting stitching in a darker blue. I used a natural, cotton yarn that I bought at a local yarn shop.
It was easy to knit and took me about five hours.
I love to make baby hats in particular because they knit up so quickly and are always appreciated!
