Greetings! This monthly newsletter is brought to you from the Make Baby Stuff website. It is your kick in the pants to get crafty!
Our contest ended December 10th and the winner is Long Tail Newborn Hat! Thank you to everyone who entered, each entry was a joy to receive.
Thanks again goes to Sundara Yarn for being our sponsor. Enjoy picking out some yarn, Ellen!
View all the entries right here!
PS - We're hosting another contest in January. Hint...it involves blankets this time.
Yes indeed, I finally set up a page for us. Come say hi on our MakeBabyStuff Facebook Page.
New Tutorials & Patterns!
I admit, I got tired of sewing constantly for the little ones so I drafted a maternity or mama tunic pattern for myself. I wear it with the belt, non-maternity style though...my youngest is just one year, don't get any ideas.
I wonder what you guys are up to for the holidays. Making anything for your little ones?. Share Your Handmade Holiday Stuff for Kids? I'm dying to see!
PS - new tutorials and announcements are always posted on our blog: Make Baby Stuff BLOG!
Meet the Crafty Mama: Cheryl
To kick it off, we have a fabulous interview with Cheryl who has an incredible crafty blog called Sew Can Do and she also runs a shop called The Green Hedgehog on Etsy. She has three little ones, homeschools and still gets a ton of stuff done. Very inspiring! Especially the bit about how she just learned to sew two years ago. You can read the interview right here. Thanks, Cheryl!
Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season and a Happy New Year! I'll see you all in 2011!
If you like this newsletter, please "email it forward" to someone you know who might appreciate it. If a friend did forward this to you and you like what you read, please subscribe now! You can upload photos and share your handmade baby projects! As our site and community grows, I hope that you drop me a line and tell me what crafty baby stuff you are up to! Did you make something that was inspired by something on our site? Pretty please play "show and tell" with the rest of us! Often, having an audience for your crafting is just a kick in the pants that you need to get working.
